CBD for Arthritis Pain

Some initial studies on animals suggest that CBD oil may be effective in relieving the inflammatory pain associated with arthritis. The cannabidiol (CBD) compound naturally contains high levels of anti-inflammatory properties. Some recent studies show positive indicators around this subject, but more studies and FDA research will need to be conducted before any substantiated conclusions can be made.

A 2011 study found that CBD helped alter the way pain receptors responded to stimuli in rats.

A 2014 review of existing research related to CBD research on animals suggests that it may provide treatment and benefits for Osteoarthritis.

A 2016 study concluded that a topical application of CBD may help reduce inflammation and symptoms associated with arthritis.

A 2017 study found that the symptoms associated with Osteoarthritis joint pain may be alleviated by CBD.
